Product Description
The A.L.R. Second Edition Humidor also has 100 cigars, but those smokes are extra special, a size known as the Bala, only available in the A.L.R. line via the humidor.
The Bala shape is the work of Hamlet Paredes, a star cigar roller from Cuba who has worked for Patel since 2015.
“It’s a size that Hamlet created with a special mold,” said Patel. It’s 5 3/4 inches long, with a 58 ring gauge at its fattest point, giving it a more bulbous bottom.
The shape has been used before in other Rocky Patel lines, but this is a first for A.L.R. The cigar is round, and made in Nicaragua with Nicaraguan tobaccos on the inside and a Mexican wrapper.
What really sets A.L.R. apart is the two years the cigars spend in the factory after rolling.
Only 250 Humidors have been made.
