De Los Reyes Cigars releases

The Saga Short Tale Tomo VII – Tales of the Land: Navarrete

The Seventh Volume of the Saga Short Tales Collection.

Tales of the land: Navarrete.

The Reyes family wanted to make a tribute to the place where the family harvested the first crop. A crop of Piloto Cubano Dominicano in the Dominican Republic. It is an area where the Cuban seeds that are the heart and the soul of this cigar found a second home. The seeds take full advantage of the rich Dominican soils.

In Navarrete, perfected techniques and seeds form part of the Navarrete cigar story.

It is also the first time the Short Tales series has released a box-pressed cigar.

The short cigar has a pleasant draw and is a medium-bodied smoke. The Saga delivers a fresh and light classic flavours profile.

The Saga Short Tales TOMO VII is the seventh release of this storybook premium collection cigars.

It features a mouthwatering, dark oily Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper.

A Dominican San Vicente binder and a specially selected filler made of Criollo 98, Dominican Olor, Dominican Piloto Cubano and Dominican leaves.

This medium-bodied robusto offers a smooth, creamy smoking indulgence with spicy and peppery notes.

The Saga Short Tales TOMO VII is handmade at the De Los Reyes, SRL factory in the Dominican Republic.

Saga Short Tales Tomo VII & Tomo I white wine paiirng

Pairing

A chilled glass of white wine. The cold white wine offers fruity flavours that pair well the the light milky Tomo VII or the darker Tomo I. White wine is a go-to pairing with cigars. On a hot summer night nothing is more refreshing around a mood fire with a glass of white wine and water with a cigar.

Saga Short Tales Tomo VII & Tomo I Conclusion

Saga Short Tales Tomo VII & Tomo I Conclusion

These are brilliant short cigars.

They are both shorter and small but with vastly different profiles.

If you enjoy a light creamy milky puff, light up the Short Tales Tomo VII,

Or,

If you enjoy a Bolder fuller flavoured puff, light up the Short Tales Tomo I cigar.

If you enjoy a Bolder fuller flavoured puff, light up the Short Tales Tomo I cigar.

These cigars has no bitterness. However, It does depend on your pairing.

Do I have a favourite? Maybe, But they are both brilliant cigars. I would light the Short Tales Tomo VII box-pressed during the day and enjoy the Short Tales Tomo I into the evening.

But that is personal. My suggestion, try both. They are both smaller wonderful cigars to light.
