Product Description
The Montecristo Edmundo, 135mm x 52 looks more powerful than it is. It is one of the newer vitola added to the Montecristo family, it tastes definitely like one of them. The major difference with other Montecristos is that it is smoother; it develops a nice warm creamy smoke, right from the start.
It gets stronger by the second third but never becoming too strong. This cigar gets even better and releases all its qualities when aged. The recommended ageing time is 3 – 5 years. Launched in 2004.
Some power kicks in during the second and third phase, but not to the extent that one would expect for a cigar of this size (52 diameter). This cigar will need some resting time if it is to reveal the true potential of its blend. With a traditional and tested blend, this cigar is designed with a heavy ring gauge (52 diameter) and a suitable length for today's rushes (135 mm in the length). The aroma of this firm Habano, perfectly balanced with its characteristic medium to full flavor will arise even greater enthusiasm among the faithful smokers of Montecristo brand.
Some power kicks in during the second and third phase, but not to the extent that one would expect for a cigar of this size. Pleasant.

Montecito Edmundo
I am a huge Montecristo fan. It's the cigar that got me hooked on Cubans. This cigar however, was a bit disappointing. It had a very tight draw, and the burn was very uneven. Even after I tried fixing the burn with my lighter a couple of times, it remained uneven. I was out with some friends when I had this cigar, so I had nothing with me to fix the draw. The flavor was still great though, but I was unable to enjoy it the way it is suppose to be.
