Product Description
The Partagas Serie D No. 4 needs no introduction as it is a legendary robusto at 124mm length and 50 ring gauge. Partagas Serie D No.4 is a Habanos classic, a mouth-filling, thick, full bodied Cuban cigar which can go head-to-head with the famous Cohiba Robusto of this size and hold its own.
Originally available in the 1930's with a different band, the blend was toned down from the original to allow more flavor to shine through. The Partagas Serie D No. 4 in its current format with its iconic red band was a 1975 release.
The Partagas Serie D No. 4 is one of the best examples of a robusto and probably the most famous of the Partagas brand. This cigar is much sought after by those who wish to smoke complex full bodied cigars.
The flavor of the blend makes it an attractive choice for those who seek a full bodied and complex Habanos while still remaining smooth and creamy.
This cigar is a must have in every connoisseurs humidor, a true Cuban super star. A marvelous draw. Very generous smoke, marked by a special earthiness, with some fresh cedar wood notes. A particular taste of tanned leather is present in the first third (remember the creamy smell mentioned while opening the box).
In the second third, the cigar is woody, with some spicy notes and rare hints of nutmeg. Hot, spicy and dry, with hints of black pepper. This impressive red ring cigar is a legend.

Partagas Series D No. 4
This box of cigars arrived just two days after ordering in perfect condition as usual. Thanks Pedro. The cigars scent is cedar and creamy. The pre- light draw is perfect and sweet. Smoking is easy, burn is even, plenty of smoke with a long peaty earthy finish.it starts with coffee and chocolate flavour, leather and tobacco. It mellows down and becomes more complex with woody, earthy sweet flavours. Medium to full body. Finally getting even stronger, intense and rich it becomes more creamy, complex and refined. This Robusto, along with the Cohiba and Hoyo Epicure No. 2 are in my mind the three finest examples of Cuban craftsmanship in cigars this size. An absolute gem of a cigar, worth every penny ( or rand )
