The Pledge Purple is a tweaked blend that stays true to the formula that made the Pledge name famous, using the exact same wrapper (from the same harvest) as the original release, but now with 10 years of aging.
This rare and limited release is sure to be one of the finest aged cigars available.Wrapped in a Connecticut-grown, Havana-seed wrapper from the same harvest as the original release and aged 10 years. This gets wrapped over a new combination of a Mexican binder and Nicaraguan fillers from Condega, Estelí, and Ometepe. The original Pledge built its reputation on a rich profile of cocoa, leather, earth, and pepper. With a full decade of rest, those flavors have had time to marry and mature, allowing the blend’s natural depth to evolve into a smoother, more refined version of the classic profile.
