Lighter bodied, smooth and if well rolled, the cigar draws nicely developing earthy, rawer, slightly pungy flavors, a solid, native, more rustic Cuban cigar at a very fair price. Really nice flavour, ubelieavably sweet tasting and very smooth. The cigar draws very nicely and is a great smoke.
Simple and linear, the flavor is tobacco. Construction can be a bit on the shabby side, but the smoke is pretty consistent. JLP’s are known for their pleasant aroma and strong and typically Cuban taste. Using tobacco from the fine tobacco-growing region of Vuelta Arriva (Sancti Spiritus Province), the brange keeps their price down through simple cardboard packages and cellophane-wrapped bundles, as well as being rolled by machine, instead of the much higher cost (but also higher regarded) process of rolling the cigars by hand.
Good for a relaxing outdoor smoke.

Petit Cetros
The first 3rd was ok but the second was awfull. Metallic describes it the best but it caused an weird naucious feeling like I was depressed and dying and it just felt like I was getting very sick. I resumed cutting the middle 3rd off and then completed the last bit which somehow made me feel better with the notes of the first 3rd. I bought this cigar to see what the worst quality tasted like but it was actually ok with the draw and construction. I still wouldnt recommend it to people who wants to experiment for less money. Rather try the Last Call cigars which are great to get you started.

Small but Decent
Despite how small it is I derived pleasure for the better part of an hour. I am a bit wary of machine-rolled sticks but I'll happily have more of these.

First time purchase... never tried the cigar yet. Amazed with the speed in which it was delivered and enjoyed the surprise in the box aswell. Great budget cigar
All Jose L. Piedra's are great cigars considering its price. They are very mild but still delivers good flavours and the flavour does intensify as you smoke it. Great for a morning smoke with coffee or to give away for friends that don't smoke and want to try a cigar. Biggest downside of them is that lots of Piedras have a plugged draw. I think i read somewhere that they're rolled by trainees or unexperienced cigar rollers. I have a bunch of them set a side waiting for the perfect draw to arrive.
